Process & Quality

Most quality problems are decided before the first part is cut — in the drawing, the tooling and the first article. This page shows the sequence we run, and where we inspect.

Six in-house processes

Step	What happens
1 · Woodworking	Panel cutting, shaping, drilling — from released drawings / CAD
2 · Wood turning	Turned parts: dowels, wheels, knobs, handles
3 · Sanding	Edge and surface preparation; edges radiused for child safety
4 · Painting	Water-based finishes per the agreed spec; film thickness and adhesion checks
5 · Assembly	Sub-assembly and final assembly; hardware torque and fit checks
6 · Packing	Retail / master carton packing, labelling, pre-shipment sampling

Where we inspect

Checkpoint	Scope
First-article	Dimensions and appearance against the confirmed drawing, before the run starts
In-process	Scheduled checks on critical dimensions and finish during production
Pre-shipment	Sampling, function and safety check, packing and carton verification before loading
Records	Inspection records are kept per order and available for review

Engineering outputs you receive

STEP · DXF · three-view drawings · key tolerances · cycle times — files a tool room or an engineer can actually use, not render-only models. Safety compliance (EN71 / ASTM F963 / CPSIA) is handled with SGS testing where required.
